SES
What does SES mean?
The Federal Government passed the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001 (20
U.S.C. 6316) in order to provide additional academic instruction to underperforming
schools. This would include tutoring, remediation, small classes all to exist outside
of
the regular school day. When a school falls into Year 2 PI (Program Improvement),
the Local Education Agency (LEA) is to provide SES services to qualifying students.
