Jump Into Math was developed from a simple passion: teaching kids strategies and routines to be successful in mathematics!
Founded in 2006, Jump Into Math is dedicated to providing high quality mathematics tutorial instruction to students in grades K-8. Students work individually or in small groups with a "Credentialed teacher" focusing on all NTCM strands of mathematics.
Jump Into Math is a State approved Supplemental Educational Service (SES) provider beginning in 2006 and recently approved through 2009. This past school year seven school districts contracted tutorial services with Jump Into Math providing instruction for over 400 students.
Credentialed teachers are employed and trained to provide instruction to small groups of students. Students receive differentiated instruction at their instructional level thus building a solid foundation for algebraic thinking.
Students are assessed throughout instruction to determine the curricular needs. All students receiving instruction from Jump Into Math have shown academic growth in their mathematical ability.
Professional development opportunites are also available from Jump Into Math for teachers employed to provide instruction. Courses are available through Fresno Pacific University.
